The Film Vault:
Phase II/II
The purpose of The Film Vault is to
preserve a Phase II/II chart of movie titles secluded in this safe storage area because they
have this in common: American film greats
The following movies are not in Film
Prophet's original Top 150 Greatest U.S. Movies of All-Time list that should be,
dated back in August of 2003.
The Film Prophet has begun to watch the movies he may have
"over-looked." Some of these movies are on the review page (indicated by
*) as the Film Prophet will go on a long phase, Phase II. Film Prophet
will give a second chance to watch each prime film in its entirety that didn't make
the cut. Practice makes perfect and doing it a second
time takes plenty effort. The movies missed by the Film Prophet are the ones that
were released by August 2003, when the site opened. How can the
Film Prophet miss any movies? Well, since he has all the older movies
down, he will concentrate now basically on the underground films or are fan-recommended, and some other ones that may have been
skipped. Film Prophet won't miss any this time as the movies listed here
will be considered to enter the list as it may expand. Film Prophet's
Greatest Movies list is U.S. and English spoken films ONLY because Film
Prophet lives in North America, where the dominant country language is
English. Therefore, no Italian, German, Portuguese, French, Asian, and
Spanish movies would be in the list, though some great ones will be
reviewed. In addition to the Top Greatest movies page, here are the
nominees that certainly deserve recognition:
